Job summary

Stand-By Personnel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Accounting Specialist for a full-time, temp-to-hire role in Oklahoma City. You will manage payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and generate financial reports for a construction business.

The ideal candidate has construction industry accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work with an outside CPA on tax filings and year-end accounting. On-site schedule with consistent weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Previous accounting experience within the construction industry is required.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and daily financial operations.
• Hands-on experience with payroll processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, aging reports, and financial reporting is essential.
• Experience preparing payroll documentation, supporting W-2 preparation, and maintaining accurate employee payment records.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications is required.
• Candidate should prepare and review financial reports including profit and loss statements and aging reports.
• FOUNDATION software experience is valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process employee payroll accurately and on schedule while maintaining payroll records.
• Prepare W-2 forms and related payroll information according to procedures.
• Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable activities with accurate balances.
• Prepare and review aging reports to monitor outstanding balances.
• Generate and review profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
