Job summary

ZipApply is seeking a Senior Construction Accountant to support the financial operations of a growing commercial construction group. You will manage construction accounting across multiple projects, handle job costing, vendor compliance, and AP, and work with leadership to ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–7+ years of accounting experience, with construction accounting required.
• Experience with construction job costing, project accounting, COIs, lien waivers.
• Procore experience (Cost Management/Project Management) is a strong plus.
• Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction accounting activities across multiple projects.
• Process invoices, maintain accurate records, and administer AP.
• Monitor job costs and ensure project cost accuracy.
• Review COIs, lien waivers, and vendor documentation for compliance.
• Support month-end close and general ledger maintenance.
• Assist with project accounting and financial reporting.
• Support Procore implementation and optimization.
• Collaborate with project managers and leadership for financial accuracy.
