Job summary

Ledgent is seeking a Senior Construction Project Accountant to manage accounting across multiple active construction projects, support budgeting, billing, cost tracking, contract administration, and payment processing. You will partner with senior leadership to drive financial initiatives and improvements across cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, construction accounting experience, and familiarity with project accounting, payroll, and contract compliance;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Previous construction accounting experience required
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, billing, cost accounting, payroll, and contract compliance
• Experience with QuickBooks and Sage accounting platforms
• CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Managing accounting responsibilities across multiple active construction projects
• Supporting budgeting, billing, cost tracking, contract administration, and payment processing
• Partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams on key financial initiatives
• Assisting with process improvements and systems optimization efforts
• Contributing to month-end activities, reporting, and operational accounting function
