Job summary

USTA National Tennis Center is seeking a part-time Finance Assistant to provide accurate financial support for site-wide Capital Expenditures and major construction projects, including Arthur Ashe Stadium and the Player Performance Building.

The role covers invoice coding, vendor communications, capex tracking, and monthly reconciliation to the Lawson ledger. The position is hybrid, onsite 2–3 days/week, up to 28 hours weekly, with a competitive hourly salary of $25–$30.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Background in Construction Accounting and Job Costing is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and maintain quality of work.
• Great attention to detail and excellent communication & analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily review and coding of all invoices relating to Capital Expenditures and Strategic Transformation.
• Assist with the review of large-scale construction project invoicing.
• Ensure subcontractor payment applications are accurate and reconciled to supporting documents.
• Prepare and maintain tracking schedules for construction project General Conditions.
• Assist with the monthly Capex Tracking Report and its reconciliation to the Lawson ledger.
• Review monthly vendor invoices/statements for accuracy and resolve billing issues.
