Job summary

Citadel Development Services, a Texas-based GC, seeks a Construction Accountant to own AR, billing, and job-cost accounting across multiple entities. You will manage schedules of values, cost coding, and lien waivers while coordinating with PMs and the Finance Lead to keep numbers clean as revenue scales from $30M to $60M.

The role emphasizes multi-entity accounting, adherence to Texas lien waiver rules, and close collaboration with the CPA and bank partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, including construction accounting.
• Hands-on with AIA G702/G703, progress billing, and retainage tracking.
• Experience with WIP schedules and inter-company accounting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle AR, billing, and retainage tracking per project.
• Process subcontractor/vendor invoices; ensure lien waivers and COIs.
• Code costs to correct jobs and maintain cost codes.
• Prepare monthly job cost reports and analyze budget vs. actuals.
• Month-end close, reconciliations, and ASC 606 construction revenue handling.
• Manage cash flow, transfers, and banking for multiple entities.
