Atrium is currently recruiting for a growing client in the construction space! We are looking for someone with strong experience and a deep understanding of construction project accounting. Qualified candidates should have experience using construction industry based accounting technology, and well-versed in accounting through the lifecycle of different projects and project phases.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting and analysis
• Revenue recognition accounting following construction project guidelines
• Assist with budget preparation, cost tracking, and job cost reporting
• Prepare and manage AIA billing and project-related invoicing in compliance with contract requirements
• Coordinate with management and project teams to ensure accurate financial documentation and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Must have a deep understanding of construction project lifecycles
