Job summary

Latham & Watkins is seeking an OGC Analyst – Conflicts Reporting to join the Office of the General Counsel. The role will prepare and analyze standard conflicts reports for incoming attorneys and new client matters, including advisory and transactional checks, with a hybrid and in-office presence.

You will communicate results to attorneys, maintain conflict data, conduct entity research, and collaborate with Conflicts staff to evaluate cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 4+ years of relevant experience may substitute.
• Minimum 3 years professional interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
• Minimum 2 years in a law firm or professional services environment.
• 2 years of experience with Intapp Open or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Communicate conflict check results and request missing information from the requestor.
• Update conflicts databases and perform corporate research to verify information.
• Obtain guidance from attorneys to properly evaluate conflicts (lateral candidate, client, adverse party).
• Research corporate entities using electronic databases, Internet, and print sources.
• Analyze responses and address potential or actual conflicts.
• Protect confidential and sensitive information.
