Job summary

Lewis Brisbois is seeking a Conflicts Manager to lead the national Conflicts Department. This hybrid role oversees workflow, staffing, training, and policy implementation, ensuring timely and accurate conflicts services while aligning with firm objectives.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of law firm conflicts experience and at least 3 years of supervisory leadership, with proficiency in Intapp or Aderant. This position offers remote options and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus related experience in a law firm.
• Minimum seven (7) years of law firm conflicts experience.
• Minimum three (3) years of supervisory, management, or leadership experience.
• Experience utilizing Intapp, Aderant, or other law firm conflicts and intake systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Conflicts Department, ensuring timely and accurate completion of conflicts requests.
• Directly supervises the Conflicts Supervisor and other assigned personnel, including coaching and performance management.
• Participates in recruiting and hiring decisions.
• Oversees employee timesheets, PTO requests, coverage and departmental resource assignments.
• Partners with Lead Conflicts Partner and Conflicts Attorneys regarding complex conflicts matters and departmental initiatives.
• Requires advanced knowledge of law firm conflicts processes, intake procedures, conflict clearance workflows, and risk management principles.
