Job summary

FBT Gibbons LLP, a national law firm, seeks a Conflicts Attorney to join the Office of Legal Affairs. You will identify, analyze, and resolve conflicts of interest related to new business intake, client engagements, and lateral hiring initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a JD and at least three years of law firm experience, with strong analytical judgment, professional ethics, and the ability to communicate diplomatically on sensitive matters.

Qualifications

• JD degree and at least three years of law firm experience.
• Bar license in good standing preferred.
• Experience with conflicts of interest and ethics matters.

Responsibilities

• Review new engagements and hires to identify conflict issues.
• Conduct electronic research using Westlaw and other tools.
• Prepare engagement letters, waivers, and ethics disclosures.
• Provide guidance on conflict of interest and ethics matters.
• Collaborate with General Counsel and attorneys to resolve issues.
