Qualifications

  • JD degree and at least three years of legal experience in a law firm; active bar license in good standing strongly preferred.
  • Experience conducting electronic research, with familiarity with conflicts-related software preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and conflicts-related programs; familiarity with Intapp/Aderant a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze engagements and hires to identify conflicts of interest.
  • Conduct electronic research to identify and resolve conflict and ethics issues.
  • Prepare and review engagement letters, outside counsel guidelines, and ethical disclosures.
  • Provide guidance on conflict of interest and ethics issues to firm attorneys.
  • Communicate with attorneys and business professionals to resolve conflicts and related issues.
  • Assist in training staff on conflicts and intake processes.
  • Close client or matter accounts per firm policy.
