Job summary

Carlton Fields is seeking a Conflicts Attorney to join the Office of General Counsel. This role can be based in multiple Florida offices including Miami, Orlando, Tallahassee, Tampa or West Palm Beach, reporting to the Ethics Counsel.

You will analyze conflict search reports, support the lateral hiring process, and help resolve conflicts of interest with the New Business Intake and Legal Talent Management teams. A JD with US license and three years of law firm experience are required.

Qualifications

• JD required and active license to practice law in the United States.
• Three years of legal experience within a law firm.
• Willingness to devote most of the business day to review of conflicts of interest databases.
• Excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze conflict search reports for incoming lateral attorneys and staff hires.
• Collaborate with Ethics Counsel on conflict review and clearance during lateral hiring.
• Provide support in related areas as directed by Ethics Counsel.
