Job summary

Foley & Lardner LLP seeks a Lateral Conflicts Analyst to oversee the conflict research and clearance process for onboarding lateral attorneys and staff. You will resolve ethical conflicts and inform candidates of any conflicts related to portable or prospective clients, while supporting the intake of portable clients for lateral hires.

The role requires coordinating with Deputy General Counsel and CNB teams, mentoring junior staff, and driving process improvements across conflicts workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of conflicts analysis experience required.
  • Experience with lateral conflicts analysis required. #LI-Hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Prepares initial conflicts summaries and identification of potential conflicts for lateral attorneys and non-lawyers who are not bringing portable clients to the firm.
  • Prepares initial conflicts summaries and identification for lateral partners bringing portable clients to the firm.
  • Mentor and support junior staff in conflicts processes and waiver letters.
