Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Configuration Specialist with strong expertise in CMDB to support a long-term contract engagement. This role will begin as a hands‑on technical project resource focused on CMDB implementation and tool optimization, then transition into long-term administration and support.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, and optimize the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within Ivanti ITSM and leverage Ivanti Neurons to extend automation and intelligence.
• Configure and enhance ITSM processes, starting with out‑of‑the‑box functionality and expanding into advanced customisations and integrations.
• Clean, structure, and maintain CMDB data to ensure accuracy, scalability, and usability.
• Utilise Ivanti Neurons for workflow automation, proactive healing, and enhanced asset/integration management.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define requirements and align the platform with organisational needs.
• Provide ongoing support, configuration updates, and tuning for Ivanti ITSM and Neurons post‑implementation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience configuring and managing Ivanti ITSM solutions with hands‑on CMDB expertise.
• Strong understanding of Ivanti Neurons as a cloud‑scale automation and management platform.
• Background in CMDB implementation, data management, and optimisation.
• Experience with ITSM modules, workflows, and integrations.
• Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM practices and best practices in configuration management.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to balance project‑based work with long‑term operational support.
