Job summary

BAC is seeking an experienced SIAM – Configuration Management Analyst to support planning, design, and implementation of configuration management plans and standards. The candidate will work to maintain the CMDB, verify CI data, and ensure accurate CI relationship mapping in an ITSM environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of service process experience, proficiency with ITIL concepts, and the ability to document complex processes clearly.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Degree or equivalent experience with at least 3 years in ITSM/CM
• Strong understanding of ITIL concepts and ITSM workflows.
• Clear and concise writing to document business processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement configuration management plans and standards.
• Assist in CMDB management and CI verification/audits.
• Define naming conventions and tagging standards for assets and CIs.
• Report CMDB / CI status using ServiceNow dashboards and tools.
• Support CSI through process improvements and TEMs.

BAC is seeking an experienced and highly motivated SIAM (Service Integration and Management) – Configuration Management Analyst to support the planning, design, and implementation of configuration management plans and standards. Candidate should have 3 or more years of service process experience in an ITSM environment.

Responsibilities

• Supports the planning, design, and implementation of configuration management plans and standards.
• Assists with the management and maintenance of the CMDB.
• Assists in the periodic verification and audit of CIs.
• Assists asset management in defining a common naming convention and tagging standard for both assets and CIs.
• Ensures mapping of services (logical service model) from the level of business services.
• Ensures timely updates to CI information.
• Ensures CI relationship mapping is accurate and evaluated often.
• Provides input for technology requirements relating to or impacting configuration management.
• Utilizes ServiceNow dashboards, tools, and techniques to report the status of the CMDB and CIs as needed.
• Supports measurement and reporting for weekly and monthly meetings.
• Assists with research, evaluation, and assessment leading to the development of recommendations for process improvements, optimization, and/or development efforts for IT processes (CSI).
• Supports evaluations and quality assessments for proper implementation of processes to meet quality standards.
• Supports and participates in TEMs and other requirements-gathering work sessions.
• Performs as a self-starter who manages end-to-end efforts independently as well as within a team environment.
• Delivers high-quality work and adapts to new challenges, either independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of three years of related work experience.
• Proficiency in and understanding of ITIL framework concepts and practices.
• Working knowledge of service management workflows and ITSM processes.
• Relevant experience as an ITSM Configuration Management Analyst in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Good writing/communication skills with the ability to clearly document/explain business processes.
