Job summary

AeroVironment in San Diego, CA seeks a Configuration Management (CM) Analyst II to work with a cross-functional team to write, review, and process CM documentation and PLM changes (ECOs, ECRs, MCOs) for releases.

You will review PLM changes for accuracy, coordinate with multiple functions to release them, and train others on CM processes.

The role requires ensuring tasks stay on schedule and within budget, with strong attention to detail and effective collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Industry recognized Configuration Management certification (CCDS, CMII, CMPIC, etc.)
• 3 - 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Familiarity with ANSI-EIA-649
• Familiarity with at least one PLM system (Fusion, Agile, Arena, Windchill, etc.)
• Demonstrates general comprehension of how to review and understand program/project documentation
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite products
• Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates ownership and teamwork values

Responsibilities

• Reviews PLM Changes (MCO, ECO, ECR, Deviation, etc.) for accuracy and helps to incorporate changes.
• Accurately and thoroughly reviews all documentation submitted for release; coordinates release with other functions.
• Reads BOMs, product definition, test, and manufacturing information.
• Trains others on CM processes.
• Works with supervisor to deploy corrective actions after audits.
