Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a CM Analyst II to manage configuration management for complex programs. You will review PLM changes, coordinate documentation, and release processes while collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, and QA teams.

The role requires 3–5 years of CM experience, familiarity with ANSI-EIA-649, and PLM systems. Strong detail orientation and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CM/ITAR-related certifications and experience with CM processes are valued.
• 3–5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Familiarity with ANSI-EIA-649.
• Familiarity with at least one PLM system (Fusion, Agile, Arena, Windchill).
• Data systems proficiency and moderate MS Office use.
• Takes ownership for current and past work products.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Reviews PLM changes (MCO, ECO, ECR, Deviation) for accuracy and shepherds changes to release.
• Reviews documentation for release and coordinates with other functions to release PLM changes.
• Reads BOMs and product data to understand scope.
• Trains others on CM processes.
• Works across disciplines and prioritizes workload.
• Responds to audits and implements corrective actions.
• Ensures tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
