Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst II to partner with a cross-functional team to create, review, and process CM documentation and PLM changes (ECOs, Deviations, ECRs, MCOs) per CM processes.

The role emphasizes reviewing release documentation, partnering with functions to track changes, and ensuring conformance with CM practices, while supporting training and process improvement across product lines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CM/CMII/CMPIC certifications are preferred.
• 3–5 years related experience or equivalent.
• Familiarity with ANSI-EIA-649 standard.
• Familiarity with at least one PLM system (Fusion, Agile, Arena, Windchill).
• Proficient in MS Office suite and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Reviews PLM Changes (MCO, ECO, ECR, Deviation) for accuracy and guides changes to release.
• Reviews all documentation submitted for release and coordinates with other functions to track and release PLM changes.
• Reads and understands BOMs, product definitions, test and manufacturing info.
• Trains others on CM processes and cross-functional roles.
• Identifies workload priorities and follows instructions for new projects.
