• We are hiring immediately for a full time CONFERENCE SERVICES ATTENDANT position.
• Location: Dechert - 2929 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: At least 1 year of experience required.
• Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Ensures meeting rooms and public areas are maintained to a high standard and meet all meeting requirements prior to start time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Moves and arranges tables, chairs, and linens for events.
• Sets up additional items like flipcharts, whiteboards, screens, etc.
• Prepares conference rooms with necessary materials (pens, pads, handouts, etc.).
• Refreshes rooms between meetings.
• Provides prompt service as scheduled or upon request.
• Maintains communication with clients, guests, team members, and support departments via phone and email.
• Assists clients and visitors, including directions and escorting.
• Shares updated information with co-workers and partners.
• Recommends room setups and collaborates on solutions for setup challenges.
• Inspects meeting rooms weekly and contacts departments for service needs.
• Assists with basic audio-visual equipment as needed.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and notifies supervisors when replenishment is needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service or houseman/porter experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
