Surgical Services Attendants are responsible for the following:

1. Preparing surgical suites for procedures, including room equipment, supplies, and furniture.
2. Ensuring patients are prepared for surgery before transport from inpatient and ER units.
3. Supporting patient positioning in supine, lateral, or other positions.
4. Performing various services and patient care activities related to surgery to support nursing staff in providing quality healthcare.

Qualifications for this position include:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. One (1) year of previous hospital perioperative experience preferred.
3. BLS certification required.
