Job Title: Service Attendant/Busser at Corner Bakery

Join us to apply for the Service Attendant/Busser role at Corner Bakery.

Description

The Service Attendant/Busser prepares and serves food items under the direction of the Cafe manager.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Pulls and wraps bread
2. Prepares food (soups, salads, desserts, beverages, wraps, pickles, etc.)
3. Stocks Front of House (FOH)
4. Prepares trays
5. Delivers food to guests
6. Cleans and maintains the dining room
7. Cleans and maintains the restrooms
8. Provides friendly service, takes guest requests, and refers to the manager when needed
9. Supports and promotes company initiatives
10. Secondary functions include Expo, Cashier, Dishwasher, Line Cook

Highlighted Tasks

• Maintains abundant FOH displays and condiment stations
• Checks bathrooms and performs additional cleaning duties as required
• Busses tables
• Prepares food to specifications and order requests
• Maintains accurate cash flow and integrity of financial transactions when cashiering
• Prepares and organizes food for delivery to guests

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent, or currently pursuing one
• Ability to complete CBC driver training, pass an MVR check, and maintain a valid driver's license with insurance
• State Foodhandler card/ServSafe certification as applicable
• Preferably at least 3 months' experience in guest service, restaurant, or retail environment
• Strong guest service and communication skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Proficient in computer use and POS systems
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
