Job summary

Soni is seeking 6 IT Support Specialists to assist with on-site technology setup and user support for a high-profile multi-day conference.

You will perform Tier 1 setup and configuration of classroom technology, AV equipment, and presentation systems, monitor 12 rooms over the 3-day event, and provide real-time troubleshooting. Escalation to full-time staff is required for complex issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Tier 1 IT support or AV equipment setup.
• Strong communication in a live event environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and presentation connectivity under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform Tier 1 setup and configuration of classroom technology, AV equipment, and presentation systems across multiple event spaces.
• Provide real-time troubleshooting for technical issues during presentations and sessions.
• Monitor technology setup across 12 designated conference rooms over a 3-day event period.
• Identify and escalate complex or high-priority technical issues to full-time internal staff as needed.
