Job summary

Soni's client is seeking a skilled AV Technician for an onsite role in New York City, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. You will provide primary AV support for conference rooms, virtual meetings, and events.

The position requires 4+ years of hands-on AV experience with Crestron and Cisco, proficiency in major videoconferencing platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, WebEx, GoToMeeting, BlueJeans, Google Meet), video editing with Adobe Premiere, and strong desktop support for PC/Mac devices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on AV support in a professional services environment.
• Experience with Crestron and Cisco systems.
• Proficient with major video conferencing platforms: Zoom, MS Teams, WebEx, GoToMeeting, BlueJeans, Google Meet.
• Hands-on video editing using Adobe Premiere.
• Desktop support including PC/Mac hardware troubleshooting and Mac setup.

Job description

Soni's client is seeking a skilled AV Technician with strong communication skills and desktop support experience. This is a full-time, onsite position located in New York City (5 days/week, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM shift) with occasional overtime availability required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide primary audio/visual support for conference rooms, virtual meetings, and company events.
• Troubleshoot and manage enterprise video conferencing platforms and hardware.
• Perform basic video editing for internal and client presentation media.
• Deliver Tier 1/2 desktop support, including computer hardware troubleshooting and Mac deployment/setup.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 4+ years of hands-on AV support within a professional services environment.
• AV Technologies: Proven experience with Crestron and Cisco systems.
• Video Conferencing: Proficiency across major platforms including Zoom, MS Teams, WebEx, GoToMeeting, BlueJeans, and Google Meet.
• Multimedia: Hands-on experience with video editing tools, specifically Adobe Premiere.
• Desktop Support: Solid background in PC/Mac desktop support, hardware troubleshooting, and Mac setup configurations.

Preferred Certifications:

• CCNA or related network certifications are a strong plus.

Compensation: $45 to $50 an hour
