Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Palo Alto is seeking a Conference Services & Events Specialist to join our firm onsite. This role supports meeting space, food & beverage, equipment and visiting attorney offices, ensuring seamless service for our clients and attorneys.

The incumbent will assist with catering intake, office pantry upkeep, conference room setup, and cross-functional coordination with BD Marketing, Skadden Experience, and Talent Acquisition events.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of firm software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new systems.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Experience in a fast-paced, professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with conference room setup and catering coordination.
• Coordinate space, beverages, equipment, and vendor intake.
• Maintain housekeeping and supplies for offices.
• Provide backup coverage to Facilities and Reprographics as needed.
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients.
