Creighton University in Omaha, NE, is seeking to hire a Conference and Event Specialist for the division of Student Life.
This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing non-academic events (internal and external) that support the president’s office, as well as academic ceremonial events on either the Omaha or Phoenix campus. The specialist will develop and strengthen partnerships within and across divisions, working collaboratively with students, employees, and community partners. Additionally, the role involves assisting the Signature Events team with event execution, providing onsite support when needed.
The position provides key support to the Summer at Creighton program, guiding individuals and groups from the initial request through their stay, including managing charges upon departure. The specialist will serve as a point of contact for summer housing availability and campus services, and assist with direct sales, marketing, appointment scheduling, and campus tours for current and prospective clients.
This is a full-time, 12-month position requiring some evening and weekend hours, especially during peak times, with over 40 hours per week during critical periods. Some travel, less than 5%, may be required.
