Job summary

FirstService Residential in New York is seeking a Security Manager to oversee the daily operations of the on-site security team, monitor electronic security control systems, and implement safety and emergency plans for the condominium association.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with local agencies, manage budgets, ensure professional conduct in uniform, and respond promptly to emergencies across the property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CLSS certification with AHLA is required or to be completed within 90 days.
• Must have a valid Security D License and strong security leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Security staff.
• Develop and implement safety, security and emergency plans.
• Manage budget and expenses within approved limits.
• Train and supervise staff; maintain professional uniform appearance.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with authorities.
