Job summary

Midwest Concrete Constructors (MCC) in St. Louis (Richmond Heights) is seeking a highly motivated Concrete Project Manager to lead turnkey concrete foundation, slabs, tilt-up and pavement projects.

You will manage estimates, scheduling, safety, design review, and progress billing for projects coast to coast as part of a national design-build team. Join MCC to leverage strong ESOP benefits, solid compensation, and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management and/or field engineering or concrete experience.
• Experience running ground-up warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, cold storage, and/or lab/pharma facilities preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management or related field with minimum 3.0 GPA.

Responsibilities

• Estimate, schedule, ensure quality control, and prepare progress reports and bills.
• Review design, coordinate materials, and manage cost reporting.
• Oversee safety, progress meetings, and coordination with the superintendent.
• Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders and teams.

A Day in the Life

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project. This includes estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation
• Participate in meetings to review the scope of work and materials
• Oversee the buyout process for materials
• Coordinate with the Concrete Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule
• Conduct progress meetings with the construction team
• Remain cost conscious and aware of every aspect of the project at all times
• Ability to communicate effectively with everyone involved in the project

Necessary Qualifications

• 3+ years project management and/or field engineering or concrete experience
• Experience running ground-up warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, cold storage, and/or lab/pharma facilities highly preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management or related field required with a minimum 3.0 GPA
