Job summary

Midwest Concrete Constructors (MCC) in St. Louis seeks a Concrete Project Manager to lead site projects from planning to execution.

You will manage estimating, scheduling, safety, quality control, progress reporting, and cost tracking for ground-up, tilt-up, and pavement initiatives. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in engineering or construction management, 0–3 years GC or concrete experience, and are proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 0-3 years project management experience with a general contractor or concrete company preferred but not required.
• Experience running ground-up projects; warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, cold storage, and/or lab/pharma facilities highly preferred.
• Estimation experience preferred.
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project. This includes estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation
• Participate in meetings to review the scope of work and materials
• Oversee the buyout process for materials
• Coordinate with the Concrete Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule
• Conduct progress meetings with the construction team
• Remain cost conscious and aware of every aspect of the project at all times
• Ability to communicate effectively with everyone involved in the project

A Day In The Life
