Job summary

Midwest Concrete Constructors is seeking a highly-skilled Construction Project Coordinator to support our concrete team and manage the administrative activities of field operations from day one, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.

You will coordinate communications between suppliers, clients and internal teams, track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and final closeout documentation, and help transition projects from estimating to operations.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of subcontractor construction administration experience.
• Proactive, internally motivated, team oriented, and adaptable.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; Procore experience a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Support the MCC team to ensure timely and professional communication between suppliers, clients, and internal departments.
• Coordinate and administratively manage multiple ongoing projects, prioritizing deadline-driven deliverables with accurate project documents.
• Research and obtain competitive pricing from concrete and reinforcement suppliers, documenting pricing data for estimating.
• Support the transition of projects from estimating into operations.
• Develop standardized procedures and vendor relationships while coordinating crew lodging and schedules.
• Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, shop drawings, approvals, inspections, testing, procurement, and other required documentation.
• Support project closeout, including punch lists, final documentation, warranties, and final billing requirements.
• Perform various other administrative duties as required.
