Job summary

DelDOT is seeking a Program Manager II to oversee the administration, technical leadership, and quality management of the Department's Concrete Section, including review of Portland Cement Concrete mix designs and testing to ensure compliance with AASHTO/ASTM standards.

The role directs concrete operations within the Materials Lab, requires ACI certifications, and involves coordinating with project teams, ensuring accreditation, and leading initiatives to advance testing and quality across

Qualifications

• Six years’ experience in materials research or related engineering fields.
• Three years’ experience in transportation or construction project/program management.
• One year of experience in contract administration, bidding and contract awards.
• One year of staff supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall administration, technical leadership, and quality management of the Concrete Section.
• Review, evaluate, approve, and maintain Portland Cement Concrete mix designs per specs and standards.
• Ensure compliance with AASHTO, ASTM and Federal Standards and obtain/maintain ACI certifications.
• Direct concrete operations within the Materials Lab and ensure testing activities maintain accreditation.
