Job summary

Building & Earth Sciences, Inc. is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Project Manager to lead testing and inspection of construction materials on various job sites, ensuring quality and safety.

You will manage a team of technicians, coordinate with engineers and architects, analyze results, prepare reports, and stay current with ASTM, ACI, and AASHTO standards; PE preferred but not required, competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction materials testing and inspection.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring teams.
• Knowledge of ASTM, ACI, and AASHTO testing methods and standards.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• PE license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians and inspectors, ensuring training and safety on-site.
• Oversee tests on concrete, asphalt, soil, aggregates, and more per standards.
• Coordinate testing activities with engineers, architects, and construction teams.
• Analyze test results and generate reports for stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with codes, regulations, and industry trends.
• Cultivate client relationships and provide exceptional service.
