NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC in Greenville, SC is seeking a Laboratory Manager to lead the lab's production, QA/QC testing, and personnel management on a range of construction projects.

The successful candidate will perform ASTM/ACI/AASHTO compliant tests on soils, concrete, and asphalt, maintain records, calibrate equipment, and ensure certifications are upheld while overseeing multiple projects with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Construction Materials Testing Laboratory.
• ACI Strength Testing and ACI Aggregate Testing certifications required.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Strong project management abilities with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC tests on construction materials and building components per ASTM, ACI, AASHTO standards.
• Maintain detailed records of observations, inspections, and test results.
• Organize lab data, process data, and prepare reports.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and workspace.
• Manage lab personnel and uphold required certifications.
