Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an experienced craft supervisor to manage concrete finishing projects, supervise foremen and crews, and ensure safety and quality on site. This role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of concrete construction, and coordination with project supervision.

Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, tool/material management, and enforcing safety programs. Must hold NCCER certifications and demonstrate leadership abilities on demanding field conditions.

Qualifications

• Journeyman supervisor with carpentry and cement finishing experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil/concrete crafts and form fabrication.
• Experience in layout, rebar placement and coordination with crews.
• Leadership, safety, quality and productivity focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise planning, layout, material storage, maintenance and inspections of concrete finishing.
• Plan and coordinate foremen and crew activities; motivate safety and efficiency.
• Lead safety processes and programs to achieve zero injuries.
• Understand scheduling, material control and FPMS reporting; create weekly schedule.
• Review timecards for hours and phase coding; ensure quality work per plans.
• Conduct pre-job safety planning; identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
