Job summary

Turner Industries Group, LLC in Port Allen, LA is seeking a Cement Finisher to smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks or curbs to specified textures. This is a non-exempt, full-time role reporting to the Foreman.

Responsibilities include preparing surfaces, using hand and power tools, and complying with safety requirements on site. TWIC is required; NCCER certification may be preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–4 years cement finishing experience
• Knowledge of hand and power tools for cement finishing
• NCCER certification may be required
• Post-offer drug screen and safety policy acknowledgment
• Comply with site safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for finishing by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing
• Repair and maintain concrete surfaces, patch holes/cracks
• Adhere to safety standards when working with hazardous materials
• Perform additional tasks per supervisor's direction
