Job summary

Cajun Industries, LLC is seeking a Finisher with strong knowledge of pouring, leveling, forming, troweling, and finishing concrete. The role may work in plant operations or on construction job sites, focusing on safe operation of tools and equipment.

You will place, finish, inspect, and repair concrete, assist crew members, and adapt to outdoor conditions, heat, and dusty environments while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Physical: May be required to move throughout active construction and project site environments, uneven terrain, mud, gravel, sand, and other varying surface conditions.
• Mental: Read, interpret, apply, and communicate work instructions, plans, specifications, safety requirements, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Place, finish, protect, and repair concrete for projects.
• Place and spread concrete using various tools and level/float the surface.
• Inspect completed work to ensure proper installation.
• Understand the purpose and proper technique for vibrating concrete.
• Assist other craft workers as needed.
