Job summary

Turner Industries Group, LLC is seeking a Cement Finisher for our Port Allen, LA area team. The role involves smoothing and finishing poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks or curbs to required textures.

It is a non-exempt role reporting to the Foreman with site-specific procedures guiding daily work. Essential qualifications include high school or equivalent, 1–4 years of cement finishing experience, and familiarity with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent is required.
• 1–4 years experience in cement finishing (level dependent).
• Basic knowledge of cement finishing hand tools and power tools.
• NCCER certification may be required.
• Post offer drug/alcohol screen and medical evaluation.
• Comply with safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct health risk to others.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for finishing by cleaning and leveling.
• Finish concrete surfaces to specified textures.
• Repair and maintain concrete surfaces; patch holes and cracks.
• Follow safety standards and procedures on site.
