Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Project HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental programs on large construction projects. This role advances Sundt HS&E initiatives across site teams, emphasizing proactive hazard identification, safety walks, and robust incident management.

The position requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, experience managing safety on industrial-scale projects, and proficiency with safety documentation and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish; certifications preferred.
• At least one year of full-time project safety experience.
• High school diploma minimum; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Integrity in reporting incidents and upholding company policy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct frequent safety walks/inspections of the project and adjacent property.
• Conduct site-specific safety orientations.
• Create, update, maintain, and facilitate the Project Environmental Management Plan.
• Create, update, maintain, and facilitate the Project Safety Management Plan.
• Facilitate the Sundt Safety Management and Illness Prevention Systems Manual on the project.
• Manage emergencies, incidents, and worker's compensation claims.
• Review and file project safety documentation.
