Job summary

Sundt is seeking a Project HSE Manager to be a core member of the project team, dedicated to the health and safety of all personnel on site. This role focuses on facilitating Sundt HS&E programs and serving as the safety resource for the project.

The position advances through three steps (I, II and Sr.) with growing responsibility, including safety walks, site orientations, and development of management plans, while coordinating with project staff to ensure compliance and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of full-time project safety experience.
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bilingual Spanish required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Conducts frequent safety walks/inspections of the project and adjacent property.
• Conducts site-specific safety orientations.
• Creates, updates, maintains, and facilitates the Project Environmental Management Plan.
• Creates, updates, maintains, and facilitates the Project Safety Management Plan.
• Facilitates the Sundt Safety Management and Illness Prevention Systems Manual on the project.
• Manages emergencies, incidents, and worker's compensation claims.
• Reviews and files project safety documentation.
