Job summary

Sundt Construction seeks a Project HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental programs on a major construction project. The role advances through three steps (I, II, Sr.) with increasing responsibility on large commercial/industrial sites.

You will conduct safety walks, lead orientations, develop management plans, and coach crews to address hazards proactively while maintaining compliance and a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish; certifications preferred but not required (STSC, CHST, ASP, CSP).
• Education: high school diploma minimum; bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least one year of full‑time project safety experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication (grammar, spelling, etc.).
• High integrity for reporting incidents and upholding company policy.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Special skills: able to use various computer software and apps; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct frequent safety walks/inspections of the project and adjacent property.
• Conduct site-specific safety orientations.
• Create, update, maintain, and facilitate the Project Environmental Management Plan.
• Create, update, maintain, and facilitate the Project Safety Management Plan.
• Facilitate the Sundt Safety Management and Illness Prevention Systems Manual on the project.
• Manage emergencies, incidents, and worker's compensation claims.
• Review and files project safety documentation.
