Job summary

MFort Security Services is a Chicago-based provider of contract security services seeking a Concierge Security Officer for a part-time first shift at a residential property. Responsibilities

• Greet residents, guests, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Enforce access control procedures and monitor visitor management systems.
• Observe, report, and document incidents, safety hazards, or suspicious activity.
• Conduct routine patrols of the property to ensure a secure and orderly environment.
• Maintain situational awareness and respond promptly to emergencies or concerns.
• Adhere to all company policies, post orders, and client procedures.
• Communicate effectively with property management, clients, team members, and contractors.
• Responsibly use company and client-provided equipment for security and monitoring tasks.
• Perform additional duties as required by site management or MFort supervisors.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment at a residential property. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, a calm and courteous demeanor, and previous experience in a concierge or front-desk role.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must have a valid Illinois PERC card and 20-hour security training certificate (or ability to obtain)
• Minimum 1 year of residential concierge or front desk security experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periodsAble to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must pass a drug screening and background check

Schedule & Compensation

• Shift: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (24 hours)
• Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
• Street parking only- No employee Parking
