Job summary

MFort Security Services in Chicago is seeking a professional Concierge Security Officer for a part-time 1st shift at a residential property. You will greet residents, manage access, and respond to emergencies while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate has a year of concierge or front desk security experience, a valid Illinois PERC card or ability to obtain one, and a high school diploma or GED. Must be able to travel to Arlington Heights and pass screenings.

Qualifications

• Must have vehicle and able to travel to Arlington Heights.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid Illinois PERC card and 20-hour security training certificate (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum 1 year of residential concierge or front desk security experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist residents, guests, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Enforce access control procedures and monitor visitor management systems
• Observe, report, and document incidents, safety hazards, or suspicious activity
• Conduct routine patrols of the property to ensure a secure and orderly environment
• Maintain situational awareness and respond promptly to emergencies or concerns
• Adhere to all company policies, post orders, and client procedures
• Communicate effectively with property management, clients, team members, and contractors
• Responsibly use company and client-provided equipment for security and monitoring tasks
• Perform additional duties as required by site management or MFort supervisors

Schedule & Compensation

• Shift: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (24 hours)
• Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
• Street parking only- No employee Parking
