Job summary

We are seeking a professional and reliable Concierge Security Officer to join MFort Security Services as a concierge for a PT 2nd shift position at a residential property in Chicago. The role emphasizes creating a safe, welcoming environment with strong customer service and front-desk experience.

The ideal candidate has a calm, courteous demeanor, a valid Illinois PERC card or ability to obtain one, and at least 1 year of relevant security experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a vehicle and able to travel to Arlington Heights.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid Illinois PERC card and 20-hour security training certificate (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum 1 year of residential concierge or front desk security experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must pass a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist residents, guests, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Enforce access control procedures and monitor visitor management systems
• Observe, report, and document incidents, safety hazards, or suspicious activity
• Conduct routine patrols of the property to ensure a secure and orderly environment
• Maintain situational awareness and respond promptly to emergencies or concerns
• Adhere to all company policies, post orders, and client procedures
• Communicate effectively with property management, clients, team members, and contractors
• Responsibly use company and client-provided equipment for security and monitoring tasks
• Perform additional duties as required by site management or MFort supervisors

Schedule & Compensation

• Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (16 hours)
• Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
• Street parking only- No employee Parking
