Job summary

MFort Security Services is seeking a professional Concierge Security Officer to join our team as a concierge for a PT 2nd shift position at a residential property in Chicago. You will greet residents and guests, enforce access controls, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment with strong customer service skills.

The ideal candidate has prior concierge/front desk security experience, a valid Illinois PERC card, and the ability to travel to Arlington Heights.

Qualifications

• Must have a vehicle and be able to travel to Arlington Heights.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Illinois PERC card and 20-hour security training certificate (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum 1 year of residential concierge or front desk security experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist residents, guests, and visitors.
• Enforce access control and monitor visitor management systems.
• Observe, report, and document incidents, safety hazards, or suspicious activity.
• Conduct routine patrols of the property to ensure a secure and orderly environment.
• Maintain situational awareness and respond promptly to emergencies or concerns.
• Adhere to all company policies, post orders, and client procedures.
• Communicate effectively with property management, clients, team members, and contractors.
• Responsibly use company and client-provided equipment for security and monitoring tasks.
• Perform additional duties as required by site management or MFort supervisors.

Schedule & Compensation

• Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (16 hours)


• Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
