Job summary

Svih Management is seeking a courteous Front Desk/Guest Services associate for San Vicente Clubs in New York City. Welcome members and guests, check them in at the restaurant outlets and guest rooms, and coordinate reservations using Seven Rooms and Peoplevine.

You will respond to calls and emails, maintain club standards, and support the Membership team by addressing guest needs, printing menus, and keeping an organized, efficient front desk.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years prior experience in customer service.
• Prior restaurant or food and beverage experience a plus.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with speed and quality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests to the club with a positive and warm attitude.
• Take restaurant and room reservations accurately and efficiently.
• Answer phone calls and emails with confidence and professional verbiage.
• Work quickly with Seven Rooms and Peoplevine systems.
• Ensure all club rules are understood and followed by all members and guests.
• Assist in printing daily menus for the club.
• Acknowledge and anticipates guests’ needs and respond promptly to maintain guest relations.
• Inform managers and the Membership team of any guest complaints or problems.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Follow front office standard operating procedures.
• Resolve member and guest problems quickly and courteously.
• Expedite member and guest check-ins and departures.
• Provide concierge-type services to guests.
• Update group information; monitor and prepare group requirements; relay information to staff.
• Manage routing of telephone, mail and other messages.
• Maintain effective relationships with all departments.
