Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (RISE Dispensaries) is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to blend hospitality with safety leadership. You’ll greet guests, manage check-in, deter incidents, and support store operations with a warm, professional presence.

Ideal candidates bring customer-facing experience, familiarity with POS systems, and readiness to work varied shifts including nights and weekends. You’ll be part of a team dedicated to safety, compliance, and exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer-facing or concierge experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and/or compliance technology preferred.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus when paired with a strong commitment to guest-first, hospitality-focused service.
• Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (varying shifts including mornings, days, nights, weekends).
• Must have reliable attendance.
• Must pass all required background checks including state cannabis employment requirements.
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must be 21 years or older and meet all state cannabis employment requirements.
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage check-in with professionalism.
• Provide concierge-level support and direct traffic while upholding compliance.
• Deter incidents and maintain safety and calm across the store and perimeter.
• Escort customers and assist operations; stay mobile and alert.
• Report safety, security, or compliance incidents promptly and escalate as needed.
• Assist with emergency procedures and preparedness.
• Support training of new APS team members and cross-functional collaboration with store leadership.
