Job summary

Green Thumb (GTI) is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist in Pasadena to blend hospitality with safety leadership. You will welcome guests, manage check-ins, and deter incidents while supporting clean, compliant operations on the floor.

The role requires staying mobile, assisting guests across the dispensary, and collaborating with teams to uphold safety standards and brand values. Experience in guest-facing roles and familiarity with cannabis regulations are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer-facing or concierge experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and/or compliance technology preferred.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus when paired with guest-first service.
• Must meet scheduling and availability for varying shifts including mornings, days, nights, and weekends.
• Must pass all required background checks including state cannabis employment requirements.
• Must have valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must be 21 years or older and comply with cannabis employment regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage check-in with professionalism.
• Maintain safety, security, and compliance across the premises.
• De-escalate situations with empathy and clear communication.
• Escort customers when needed and support guest flow and operations.
• Report safety or compliance incidents promptly via SOPs.
• Support emergency procedures and site readiness.
