Position Details

Role: Concierge/Front Desk - Senior Site

Type: Part-Time (one day a week)

Primary Responsibilities

The Concierge handles customer service and administrative duties, greets visitors, answers phones, and is often the first contact with the community. Follows policies set by the Executive Director and Lockwood Management.

Typical Duties
  • Answer telephones professionally, determine call nature, and direct calls appropriately.
  • Provide proactive hospitality to prospects, residents, families, and staff.
  • Greet, monitor, and screen visitors, ensuring a warm welcome.
  • Maintain a neat appearance and keep the front area clean.
  • Assist with community tours and administrative duties.
  • Help new residents with move-in and orientation.
  • Manage mail and resident payments, issue receipts, and post charges.
  • Maintain lost and found, ensure safety standards, and assist in emergencies.
  • Support activities and events, and promote teamwork.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License or State ID.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • At least 1 year experience as a receptionist or concierge in a senior living community.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel.
  • Effective communication with residents, staff, and vendors.
