Schedule: Remote

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Why This Job Matters

Serve as an advocate for Medicare members by responding to inquiries regarding benefits, products, services, resources, network, and policies. Identify and escalate issues affecting members and providers, and support retention through exceptional service.

What You’ll Do
  1. Respond to Medicare members’ inquiries about benefits, products, services, and policies.
  2. Identify problems affecting members and providers; notify relevant departments to resolve issues.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with members and providers, providing excellent service both over the phone and in person.
  4. Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  5. Identify cross-sell opportunities for ancillary products such as dental insurance.
  6. Maintain records of interactions, process account changes, and refer unresolved issues.
  7. Work in various capacities including as a Medicare Concierge phone Agent and Community Outreach Specialist at different locations and events.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Need To Succeed
  1. Combination of education and experience.
  2. Up to two years’ experience in customer service.
  3. Successful completion of Customer Service Assessments and Medicare Certification.
  4. Flexibility to work weekends and shifts between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
  5. Ability to work at various locations in Rhode Island with reliable transportation.
  6. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Computer literacy and data organization skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting quality and time standards.
The Extras
  1. Experience in a remote call center environment.
  2. Knowledge of health insurance or managed care.
  3. Bi-lingual skills (Spanish or Portuguese).
  4. Health Producers License.
Location and Work Schedule

Headquartered in Providence, RI, with options for in-office, hybrid, or remote work, depending on the role. Permitted to reside in select states with HR approval.
