Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment in Detroit is seeking a guest services usher to greet guests, scan tickets, and manage access at events. You will operate scanners and other equipment, deliver friendly, professional service, and help maintain crowd control in a fast-paced venue environment.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of customer-facing work, be able to work late hours, lift up to 25 pounds, and speak English fluently.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ work experience interacting with people in a positive environment.
• Ability to work late hours and maintain composure in a fast-paced setting.
• Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and scan guest tickets, resolving access issues with escalation when needed.
• Operate ticket scanners, printers and related equipment as required.
• Deliver exemplary customer service to maintain guest loyalty.
• Maintain order and ensure adherence to safety rules.
• Refuse admittance to individuals without valid tickets or passes.
• Verify tickets or passes for authenticity and direct accordingly.
