Job summary

The Nashville Symphony Association is seeking a Box Office Agent to join the Ticketing & Customer Service team. This part-time, hourly, non-exempt role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service at the box office window, processing ticket sales, and educating patrons about concert content.

The position requires a minimum of four concert shifts per month during the September–June season and may involve evening and weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Arts knowledge preferred but not required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high levels of customer service with a positive attitude.
• Participate in four box office shifts per month during concert season.
• Process ticket purchases and update patron data accurately.
• Educate patrons on concert content and sales products.
• Handle inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
• Protect donor and patron confidentiality.
• Learn ticketing policies and CRM/Tessitura usage.
