Job summary

Seattle Symphony Orchestra Inc. seeks a part-time, non-exempt ticketing assistant to support Benaroya Hall ticketing, sales, and customer service. The role involves processing purchases, exchanges, and will-call, with emphasis on accuracy and patron satisfaction.

Ideal candidates communicate well, handle fast-paced tasks, and work flexibly to cover evenings and weekends. Experience with Tessitura and MS Word/Excel is a plus for this busy venue team.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; Tessitura experience preferred.
• Willing to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends.
• Previous ticket office experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process subscription and single ticket purchases and exchanges in person, by phone, mail, and internet.
• Provide current information to patrons for Benaroya Hall events.
• Support customer service policies by solving patron problems politely and diplomatically.
• Staff day-of-show ticket office; handle will-call and ticket replacements.
• Responsible for accurate sales reconciliation.
• Participate in training and other duties as assigned.
